Book a room
Well behaved dogs are welcome at The Vineyard Hotel.
We want the dogs and their owners to enjoy their time at The Vineyard, but, we do kindly request that owners and their pets are considerate and respectful to other guests. For Health and Safety reasons, we exercise a strict ‘dogs on leads’ policy.
We allow a maximum of 1 medium sized dog per bedroom or 2 small dogs per bedroom. To ensure all are complying we do ask for breeds to be declared on booking. Dogs should be house trained and a minimum age of 1 year old - it is not suitable to bring dogs with behavioural issues.
We understand that accidents can happen. The hotel reserves the right to charge for damage (for repair or replacement as required). Deep cleaning will also be charged as required.
Booking in with your pet?
The Vineyard asks that all pet reservations are to be made by telephone or email and the hotel will need to be informed in advance. Please let us know the breed of dog, age and name during your booking. Dogs will only be accepted on a pre-booked basis. We regret that guests who arrive without advance notification of bringing a dog may not be accepted due to a lack of availability of dog-friendly rooms. A number of ground floor Atrium Suites have been designated as dog friendly.
There will be a charge of £30 per dog per night; (this is to cover cost of deep cleaning and the use of bedding/bowls) we do ask that you bring your own dog food for the duration of your stay.
Dogs are allowed full reign of our outside facilities, there are also many country walks directly from our hotel, for which our concierge team would be happy to provide maps on request.
Dogs are not allowed in public areas of the hotel, apart from reception during arrival and departure. However, well behaved dogs may join their owners if dining outside.
Dogs should not be left alone in guest bedrooms for long periods and the owners must be in the hotel. Please note that we will not offer a turn down service for rooms that have dogs in them.
We do ask that owners clear up after their dogs. All dog bags are to be placed in our outside bins.
