WSET Level 2 Course in Wines and Spirits

WSET Level 2 is perfect for those that work in the beverage industry or for consumers that want to learn more about wine and spirits. The aim of this intermediate wine course is to give you a greater depth and knowledge of the wine and spirits you sell and consume. WSET level 2 is a good progression for those that already know the basics of wine or have successfully completed their WSET level 1.

Course requirements: This is an intensive weekend course so we recommend that students complete the level 1 before progressing to the level 2.

Sunday 5th- Tuesday 7th March

Course duration: 3 day course run on a weekend from Sunday evening to Tuesday evening. 9.30am until 5.30pm.   

Day only course £765 per person*

The price includes all of the study material provided, examination fees and certificates. Three course lunch with wine and a 5 course dinner with wine for two days. 

3 day residential course £1,135 per person or £971 based on double occupancy**

Course overview

  •  The WSET course will be delivered by the Vineyard’s own WSET certified tutor, James Hocking
  • You will have the opportunity to taste up to 44 wines and 4 spirits during the duration of the course
  • Examination - 50 multiple-choice questions to be answered in 1 hour
  • A mark of 55% required to pass
  • All students who pass will be issued with a certificate suitable for framing and a lapel pin

Additional study

In addition to the teaching and study material we provide we recommend an additional 12 hours of private study prior to the commencement of the course.

The Vineyard reserves the right to cancel the course should there be less than six people booked on the course at any one time. For registration purposes, and to allow study material to be delivered, you are advised to book to attend a WSET course at least 20 working in advance of the start date of the course.
