  • Wine Schools

    Wednesday 14th October - 6.30pm to 8pm
    If you’re a fan of sparkling wine, this wine school will be the ideal opportunity for you to try a range of sparkling wines from around the world. Of course Champagne will feature, but we will show how
    California and Spain compete. Plus take a good look at English fizz – now consistently winning awards and giving the French classics a real run for their money.

    Day course

    Sunday 18th October

    Learn more about wine in one of the UK’s wine hotels and gain an internationally recognised wine qualification whilst enjoying fine wine and dining at The Vineyard.

    The day course includes:

    • A full day’s WSET Level 1 Award in Wines training including exam and wines
    • Three course lunch with matching wines in our restaurant
    • Tour of our 30,000 bottle cellars

  • Ladies Lunch

    12pm to 3pm

    Nestled in the Surrey countryside, Joanna Marshall, artisan chocolatier and founder of Kokoh Chocolate, has been crafting chocolate of superlative character and remarkable flavour combinations for ten years. And for our November ladies' lunch, Joanna will share with you her rather remarkable story from the world of chocolate making.

    With taste and purity foremost for Joanna, she makes chocolate with no additives or artificial ingredients, yet still supremely delicious, winning stars at the Great Taste awards for five years running. From ethically sourced plantations, many of her products are darker chocolate mixed with variety of ingredients such as the surprising hitmaker, salt. Joanna also has much experience matching chocolate with fine wines and spirits, notably with the Royal vintners, and so this should be a very interesting November luncheon indeed. “You need to take a bite and let it melt on your tongue, patiently. It’s an adventure that unfolds on your palate.”
