Private Wine Tasting

Why not create a private wine tasting event your own? Choose the number and styles of wines you'd like to taste, and leave the rest up to us. With a cellar of over 30,000 bottles of wine and over 3,000 different varieties, you'll be spoilt for choice.

Our wine discovery experiences and cellar tours (based on a minimum group of 8 people) and can be enjoyed Monday to Friday. Choose from the options below or speak to our Sommeliers about creating a completely unique experience.

  • Aromatic Grapes
Enjoy tasting three wines made from aromatic grapes such as Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Noir and Shiraz. All are very fragrant styles, which are always very fruit driven so have fun tasting wines that are bursting with flavour.
    From £25 per person.
  • The Art of Wine Tasting
Learn how to taste wine from the experts. Using three wines, our wine coaches will show you how to recognise a wine by sight, taste and smell so you will have a better understanding of different wine styles. It’s surprising how much you will learn in a short space of time!
    From £25 per person.
  • Old World vs New World
Which will be your favourite style of wine? You will have the opportunity to taste two white and two red wines from the same grape variety and similar vintage, but one will be from the new world and the other from the old. There are some many factors that can have a direct effect on a wine such as climate, style of wine making and soil, and our wine coaches will be there to make sure you enjoy the experience and also leave with a better understanding.
    From £30 per person.
  • Discovery
Excite your taste buds with rare and intriguing wines. This is a great wine experience to choose as you will have the opportunity to taste four wines from lesser known grape varieties from up and coming regions such as Gruner Veltliner from Austria and Tannat from Uruguay. Impress your friends with your new found knowledge!
    From £35 per person
  • Blind Tasting
This is a really fun tasting based on the Judgement of Paris, an infamous blind tasting that took place in 1976 where Californian wines beat France’s best. So bring the story alive and have your own judgement. Taste three French and three American wines and decide which country gets your vote.
    From £40 per person.
