The results are in!

Zest Magazine have revealed that the Vineyard Spa came joint 2nd in their recent Spa awards. Nominated in the 'Best for Relaxation' category, we share 2nd place with Chewton Glen in Hampshire, and were beaten only by the Scarlet Hotel in Cornwall, a clifftop eco-retreat with stunning sea views. This is a brilliant accolade, not least because it was voted for by people who have come and experienced our unique ambience and gone away glowing! We are hugely grateful to those who took the time to vote, and look forward to welcoming you back througn our doors very soon.

Spring has sprung!

I hope you have been enjoying the Sunshine we have had recently, were all keeping our fingers crossed that it continues. The sunny weather has meant our Spa Garden can now be enjoyed, the perfect place to relax overlooking fields indulging with a glass of Champagne.

I have been surprised by the number of people caught out by the sun and have got sunburnt especially on the face. While it may go brown and you end up with a nice tan, this may lead to skin pigmentation and ageing. My advice is always wear a spf 15 even when cloudy to stay looking 10 years younger. If you do get sunburnt then the best advice is to moisturise and Darphin’s range Intral is brilliant at soothing inflamed, red and irritated skin.

With the sunny weather we also free our feet from being enclosed in socks and shoes. Our Deluxe Pedicure is a great way of giving yourself some pampering and getting your feet ready to show off. Mavala have great colours to please everyone and you also get to keep your nail polish so you can touch up any chips, making the paint last longer. For any men reading this, then don’t worry we do a Gent’s Pedicure just for you .

Lastly we have been nominated for a Zest award in the ‘Best for Relaxation’ category, you can vote for us by simply following the link on the website. If you haven’t experienced our spa and treatments then have a look at our spa days and evenings If you would like some advice then we are always happy to help you decide the best package for you or tailor one to your needs.

Welcome to the third edition of The Vineyard Spa blog.

I hope 2010 is turning out to be a good year for you, despite the snowy start.

You may have read in my previous blog about our new product range Darphin. I am pleased to say that we are fully up and running with the treatments and we are all enjoying using the products and seeing excellent results after the facials. Click here to find out more about the treatments.

To go along with the launch of our Darphin range we are offering FREE skincare consultations, where you can speak with one of our therapists and gain advice on how to look after your skin and also correct any concerns you may have. If you would like to book or would like more information, please contact our Spa reception on 01635 589415.

These cold winter days are the perfect time to indulge in a spa day, however if your days are too busy for some pampering, then we also have our spa evenings. Our Spa evening for two is great value at £100 and includes use of the spa, food and a 25minute treatment of your choice. Click here for more information.

We look forward to seeing you all soon.

Merry Christmas

Welcome to the second edition of The Vineyard Spa blog.

Next year will be an exciting year for us as we will be introducing Darphin to our spa.

Darphin was created in 1958 by Pierre Darphin who believed that a women’s beauty is not only about how her skin looks but also how she feels about herself, to create a state of inner and outer beauty.

Darphin’s products are the perfect blend of science and nature for optimal results. Darphin’s skincare addresses skin types as well as skin conditions and client feelings.

We are all very excited to be welcoming Darphin to our spa and if you would like to hear more about Darphin, please come in and see us.

A new edition to our website will be a Spa staff profile page, where you can put a face to a name and learn more about your Spa team.

Finally with the New Year fast approaching don’t forget we have a range of gift boxes and gift vouchers that make perfect presents and if you’re warn out from all the Christmas preparations then why don’t you come for a spa day or evening and allow us to give you some pampering.

Welcome to The Vineyard Spa Blog

I have always believed that the personal touch is one of the most important parts of a spa, where our guest is looked after from the moment they arrive till the moment they leave. We want our guests to escape from their everyday life, which for most of us involves running around after other people and putting everyone else first.

All of the team at The Vineyard Spa are committed to ensuring our guests time with us, is both relaxing and pampering. Our therapists will endeavor to give you the best treatment they possibly can, while our Spa assistants will bring you tea and coffee, dry towels and perhaps a glass of champagne with your lunch?

In each of my following blogs I will introduce a member of the Spa team, so you will be able to get to know the people behind the team.

Chef

On October 1st, we were joined by new Executive Chef Daniel Galmiche. That means we are now able to offer a brand new Spa menu.

Daniel has been busy making his mark on the Vineyard, so if your visiting the Spa for an evening on the run up to Christmas, take advantage of our Spa evening package, which will also include a main course each, from our brand new conservatory menu for you and your friend. Click here for more details.
