Meet the Pros – Porthilly Shellfish & Chapel Down Winery
This year we are introducing a series of Meet the Pros… super exciting masterclasses combining meet the supplier with meet the wine producer. Each season will showcase a seasonal ingredient expertly paired with a suitable wine to create an evening of provenance, professionalism and producers.
For the first in our series, we are proud to introduce Tim Marshall from Porthilly Shellfish and James McLean from Chapel Down Winery.
Porthilly shellfish, based at Porthilly on the Camel Estuary, are growers, wholesalers and purifiers of the finest mussels, oysters and clams. The Chapel Down winery is located in the beautiful town of Tenterden, situated in the heart of the Kent countryside. They produce a complete range of English sparkling wines using the same method used in Champagne, but with fruit sourced from the South-East of England.
Executive Chef Tom Scade and Director of Wine Romain Bourger will be introducing our guests so you can sit back, relax and enjoy an evening of the finest.
Three delicious courses paired with wines are priced at £89 per person.
