Day One: Arrival & Unwind 

• Afternoon: Arrive and settle into your elegant room or suite
• Sunset: Sip an aperitif on the lawn as the sun sets in Berkshire
• Evening: Experience Head Chef Tom Scade’s seasonal tasting menu at The Tasting Room with five exquisite courses paired with wines (Thursday to Saturday)

Day Two: Exploration & Indulgence 

• Morning: Visit Highclere Castle, the iconic Downton Abbey setting just 30 minutes away by taxi arranged by our concierge if you are joining us without your car
• Lunch: Dine at Goat on the Roof, a local favourite known for its creative dishes and warm atmosphere
• Afternoon & Evening: Return for a soothing swim and spa treatment before another evening of relaxed dining 

Day Three: Local Charm & Relaxation 

• Morning: Explore Newbury’s boutique shops and the Kennet and Avon Canal 
• Lunch: Visit Snelsmore Common and return for Lobster on the Lawn or heritage breed steak
• Afternoon: Back at The Vineyard, take a tour of our wine cellars and discover New World and Old World wines
• Evening: End your stay with a relaxed supper from our all-day menu in the lounge or on the terrace
