Modern Slavery Act Statement

Purpose:

This statement is made by Stockford Limited on behalf of its self and its group subsidiaries pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement.

Our company:

Stockford Limited operates a holding company, 3 hotels, 2 golf clubs and other smaller subsidiary entities within the UK.

Our policies on slavery and human trafficking:

We are committed to ensuring that slavery and human trafficking play no part in our business or supply chains.

We are committed to ensuring business is conducted ethically and with integrity. Slave labour is not used anywhere within the group of businesses and forced or compulsory labour or human trafficking will not be tolerated. As a business we are committed to ensuring that no such behaviour takes place in connection with the company or its group subsidiaries and this commitment extends to our supply chain.

Our supply chain:

Our supplier relationships are based on lawful, efficient and fair practices. It is our expectation that all of our suppliers obey the laws that require them to treat workers fairly and provide a safe and healthy working environment. The company will only work with suppliers that adopt compliant working practices, including not using any form of compulsory labour or human trafficking.

Our suppliers are obliged to pass these requirements on to their own suppliers and it is expected that all suppliers police their own supply chain to root out modern slavery of any kind.

Reporting:

Should anyone with information regarding modern slavery or human trafficking taking place within the company or anywhere within the supply chain, it is encouraged that a report should be made to its directors.

Monitoring and Review:

To ensure there is no slavery of human trafficking within the business or supply chain an ongoing review will take place of the supply chain. Training will be carried out with key personnel to identify human trafficking and understand forced labour issues.

Declaration:

We will continue to review our supply chain, our training and our policies and procedures to address prevention of modern slavery and human trafficking.
